An opportunity has become available for a commercial lawyer to join Stella McCartney, based in London.  This is a newly created role reporting to the General Counsel of the brand.


  • A minimum of 3-4 years post qualification experience and UK qualified as well as a commercial and pragmatic outlook will be ideal for this role.
  • Proven project management skill set.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast moving business.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven commercial and pragmatic approach when advising on and assessing business and legal risks.

Richemont are looking for a part time Intellectual Property  (IP) Legal Counsel to provide specialist IP Legal advice to THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP.


  • Managing a global IP portfolio and working with a worldwide team of agents in the filing, prosecution, maintenance and defence of the NET-A-PORTER GROUP’S valuable trade marks
  • Providing IP advice and information to our brand teams, NET-A-PORTER.COM, The, MR PORTER.COM, PORTER Magazine and THENETSET
  • Managing all contentious and non-contentious IP matters as the case may be, including the enforcement of copyright and trademarks online 
  • Creating and implementing regional IP strategies, including enforcement strategies
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements with third parties (including IP licenses, collaborations, photographer contracts, releases etc
  • Image and personality rights around the world and advising the brand teams in relation to use of the same
  • Defamation and privacy laws around the world and day to day application of these in relation to THE  NET-A-PORTER GROUP’s publications, both on and off line
