POSITION

In the Legal Department of Christian Dior Couture, we are hiring an Intellectual Property Lawyer. You assist and advise the operational departments of the House in the analysis of the files and operations in which it is involved.

As such, your main missions are:

  • Collaborate with creative teams in product development

  • Write, negotiate, review contracts of assignment and / or licenses of intellectual property rights, product placements, events, services, assignments of rights to the image, synchronization

  • Initiate and follow contentious infringement of intellectual property rights and unfair competition in France and abroad

  • Coordinate the fight against counterfeiting (digital and physical) with the services of LVMH

  • Write legal consultations, notes and memos to answer various operational questions

  • Provide legal oversight on intellectual property issues

  • To sensitize the operational ones to the problems related to the intellectual property by the setting up of internal training support and the animation of formation

  • Manage the portfolio of intellectual property rights in coordination with our advice

PROFILE

  • Coming from a Master 2 in law, specialized in intellectual property and CRFPA holder, you have a successful experience of 3 to 5 years in law firm in the field of intellectual property. An additional experience of 1 to 2 years as a lawyer in intellectual property is a plus.

  • Your general legal culture allows you to raise and identify as early as possible issues that require the involvement of other specialists. Your excellent analytical and synthesis skills, your ability to clearly outline the legal issues, your writing skills and your sense of priorities will be essential qualities for the success of your assignments.

  • Organized and rigorous, you enjoy teamwork. You have a facility to adapt to your different interlocutors and have the sense of initiatives.

  • You speak English and French fluently, Italian is a plus.

  • A knowledge of the luxury sector is a plus.

  • International trips are expected.
