British singer and actress Jane Birkin has requested that her name be dropped from being used in association with the luxury brand Hermès’ most iconic handbags, the “Birkin,” following a report, which unveiled animal mistreatment in the production process of the bag.

 A European trademark holder is taking Apple to court over the ‘iWatch‘, trademark name, despite the fact that the company has chosen to call it’s smartwatch the ‘Apple Watch.’ Probendi, a software development studio, is suing Apple for its use of 'iWatch' as a paid promotion Google AdWords term, which directs users to Apple's store page. Probendi owns the 'iWatch' trademark in Europe, and obtained the 'iWatch' trademark back in summer 2008

According to reports, the Paris-based design house, is now taking legal action against a small South Australian chocolate company that has been forced to change its business logo after being issued with a cease-and-desist letter from Chanel lawyers, last month - citing trademark infringement of the No. 5 branding. The issue ignited when 'Chocolate @ No. 5', a small chocolatier in South Australia, tried to register a trademark for its logo.
